Children in Crossfire Trek Nepal - 2008 Looking for a challenge?
Join Children in Crossfire for the trip of a lifetime! We are leading two treks in 2008 to Cuba and Nepal. Help raise funds for some of the World's poorest communities. All that's missing ... is YOU! About Nepal Draped along the greatest heights of the Himalayas, the kingdom of Nepal is a land of sublime scenery, time-worn temples, and some of the best walking trails on earth. Nepal is a poor country, but it is rich in scenic splendour and cultural treasures. The kingdom has long exerted a pull on the Western imagination and it is a difficult place to dislodge from your memory once you return to everyday life. Perhaps this is why so many travellers are drawn back to Nepal, armed the second time with a greater appreciation of its natural and cultural complexity, a stout pair of walking boots and a desire for improved leg-definition. Nepal Pike Peak Charity TrekThe Pike Peak trek takes those of you prepared for the challenge through one of the most beautiful, remote parts of the Himalayas. Your route is off the tourist track, and allows access to hidden monasteries and a chance to experience some of the renowned Nepali hospitality and culture. Our hike will ascend to just over 4,000 metres so will require a moderate level of fitness. For all of you taking part, it will prove to be a very rewarding adventure as you will reach the summit of the Pike Peak, with views of the Everest Range and its celebrated peaks.
